Cart Page Configs – How to Set Up Terms and Conditions

Sometimes web merchants need customers to accept terms and conditions before checkout.

Luckily, this feature is built into AspDotNetStorefront and it’s easy to enable and get set up.

To add this feature to your website, login to the admin side of your site and navigate to the AppConfigs screen:

Cart Page Configs – Add Cart Item Notes

Did you know AspDotNetStorefront lets your customers add notes to individual items in their cart before checkout?

By default there is an order notes field that allows customers to make comments about the entire order. If you want customer’s notes to be assigned to individual items you can set the “AllowShoppingCartItemNotes” AppConfig to true.

You can find this AppConfig by going to the admin side of your website and selecting:

Cart Page Configs – Adding Order Options

AspDotNetStorefront store owners use Order Options to add items like gift wrap or a free catalog to their shopping cart page. Order Options can have their own price, icon image, and description.

And better still, Order Options are built into AspDotNetStorefront and a cinch to add to your cart.

This article is the first in a series explaining some of the built in AspDotNetStorefront shopping cart page settings that many users don’t know about.

In this first installment, I’ll show you how to add product icons to your shopping cart.  I notice that many people don’t use this feature of ADNSF, perhaps only because it is turned off by default.
